"A complete design system and brand foundation that reflects our mission and vision"

As part of my broader design work at Chipin, I created a brand system that can easily be applied to both product and editorial designs. This brand system laid the groundwork for designing a UI design system and component library, leading to consistency without sacrificing creativity or personality.

Brand Foundations

Chipin was created to support golf tournaments, but its platform has the functionality to be used for any time of event. I pulled core colours from golf courses to reference the main offering, but then took most of my inspiration from leisure activities and signage from other recreational spaces to ensure that the brand would feel at home in any setting. I used these references to inform my design decisions on all other brand foundations like illustration, typography, iconography, radius and spacing.

Logo system

The logo went through a few different iterations. Ultimately, we landed with this one because it was conveyed the spirit of the brand without leaning heavily on golf, making it a more sustainable logo long term.
